I've loved everything Parker has touched from his discography to his collaborations with other artists. People complain about him changing his sound, when in reality, if he made Innerspeaker four different times, it would be super boring. He's changed it up every album, and I appreciate growth from an artist, especially of Kevin's stature. For me, it would be: 1. Currents 2. Lonerism 3. Innerspeaker 4. The Slow Rush HOWEVER, none of them are bad. They are their own time and place.
@redkingoldhero384 жыл бұрын
so you think lonerism is just innerspeaker 2? you know innovation is possible while keeping the same sound or staying in the same genre. the new album is so far away from this music it's almost like a different band (and yes i know the band is one person)
@redkingoldhero384 жыл бұрын
also even if he did make innerspeaker the same time that's only boring to you. that's an opinion. i would welcome it as I think Innerspeaker is their best album.
@andrewyeeter60684 жыл бұрын
@@redkingoldhero38 The thing with Kevin is that he makes his best music when he is excited with what he is doing. He outgrew innerspeaker, and I think this is for the better. Each album has its own story, and if he didn't change he would be repeating the same story
@redkingoldhero384 жыл бұрын
@@andrewyeeter6068 only lyrically would he be repeating the same story. you can write about different topics within one genre or one sound. he couldve been writing about what he writes about in his new album with a similar sound as what you find in lonerism and innerspeaker. I simply do not like the bubblegum super polished pop music he makes now. i like the fuzzy, guitar driven, lo-fi psych music he made. that's that
