Kev really stepped up his live vocal game. Even around the Lonerism period, his vocals were not exactly bad but during shows making out his lyrics (unless you already knew them) was a little hard to do and you would sometimes hear his voice get strained (which I don't blame him for because he would do a lot of touring and back to back shows all the time) and so the focus would really be on the music/experience of a Tame show itself. After Currents and TSL, he seems to have mastered his craft in all its aspects.
