this is like his sound but not, cant even tell what period this is. best guess would be sundown syndrome era (2008?-2009). its weird becuase you can still tell its tame impala but its really unique, some parts of the 2nd half you would definitely mistake for a different artist. i would anyway but the opening is just what you expect from tame impala. echoey psychedelic guitar riffs, the best drums ever recorded to date, catchy bass line, the lot.

Listening in 2018, and I really hope he continues with these psychedelic, creative guitar driven sounds. I just can't help but feel that, not only does Kev play these sounds really well, but there's so many unreleased demos out there that are so pure and beautiful. That being said, I think Currents is a really good album. I would love a guitar driven crossed with the same production as Currents Oh, and can someone tell me... If Kevin was to take his production skills to another level, how would he do this? Genuinely curious.
@garlicbrad79166 жыл бұрын
I don't think anyone has any idea what Kevin's next album will be like. Currents was so different than his previous work, it's difficult to tell if he'll continue in the same direction as Currents or do something completely new.
