watching kevin's progression from making pure organic psychedelic rock to the synth-driven pop ballads on Currents is fascinating. Lonerism was the perfect bridge between Innerspeaker and Currents, it made Kevin's transformation seem so, so natural.

Oh man, to rediscover Tame Impala again. I remember back like right after Innerspeaker released I finally found out about them and really dove deep into the songs with Lonerism. I didn’t care much for Currents or the most recent album, but they’ve come to grow on me in a different way than the first two which I instantly fell in love with. These little rarities that are existing on KZbin are fantastic.

I've seen the old songs of Tame Impala ramp WAY UP in views since his new album slow rush. Because of the nostalgia injected into it. It suggests the past as a gateway to the present. And I like it as a feeling. Just not as an action.

Younger Kevin's drums are so bombastic and dominating at times in the unique fills he makes.(Aka, anything before Currents). He has this explosive aura in the drum fills that faded out after Lonerism. Its like after getting things off of his chest and being able to express what he was feeling through his music, he went to a more streamline rhythm, rather than the more unpredictable one he had before.

Which is GOOD! Me neither, am I, the same kind of moody person I was back in 2009. Vibrations and sounds and moods develop with personalities but it is all the same GOODNESS. Oooh, it's so fucking groovy I love it.

@@torinpalethorpe3616 compared to that opinion, if Parker had continued with the same, he would not have reached a high stop, and soon his music would have been stagnant

@@kateprix3850 In a bad way to me, unfortunately. The new singles are mainstream and do not feel me with the same level of specialness from Kevin's previous work. It sounds lazy and generic if compared. You and many others love it, but I am one who doesn't.

Tame Impala haven't released this song on any of their albums or EPs! But I agree with you. BUY the music you love! Getting Innerspeaker and Lonerism on CD was the best money I've spent in donkeys.

As someone said below, there is a lot of Ringo in Kevins drumming. Also "Tomorrow Never Knows" could be on Innerspeaker and it would blend almost perfectly.
