Lonerism and InnerSpeaker brought some new sounds and evolved the sound of rock and they're both masterpieces as well as Currents, it's just sad that Currents it's actually considered as one of the best albums of all time (which it is) but Lonerism and InnerSpeaker no. PS: and don't forget his EP, it was really good.

I got introduced to tame impala when my old crush showed me her playlist while I was really high accidentally after sweating a lot (I was quitting for the girl you know how it goes). Man that girl had good taste in music. Before that I had only heard disciples and never though much of it other than "cool song". But one listen to let it happen while drifting in and out of consciousness between awake and asleep (hard to explain) while high and tame's been my favorite music ever since (ignore that my icon isn't the self titled slipknot album). That one moment changed my whole life and my perspective on how music can make you feel in extreme ways. I remember hallucinating/dreaming Mario jumping across platforms in tempo with the breakdown of let it happen for christ's sake! Because of tame impala I started playing bass mainly as well as drums and keys (still working on guitar) and now music is my life in every way. I'm 15 and a softmore in high school and I've got a lot of life and good ass music ahead of me. If Kevin ever saw this in an alternate universe I would want him to know he helped me gain identity in music and showed me what I want in life so that I have direction. love you Kevin and all you other Tame lovers.

Those ending chords are so fucking beautiful and add a lot to the song. If you were thinking of this as a really bad storm, the aftermath can be beautiful yet haunting, which is what the down-pitched chords add. Silence, but also like a “is it safe now?” type of thing.
