This interview creates a doubt who is the guest? Kishore or Magizhan? Out of total interview time 65 minutes Magizhan took more time than Kishore. Throughout the interview he is telling allow me to finish. If he wants to talk so much he can give all his view in his channel but not while interviewing somebody. This he is repeating in all the interview he is participating. Irritates viewers. Better avoid him in the panel.

I find Mr mahilan at times is narrow minded and entering an argument with the guest (most of what I watched), not well prepared with facts (with Mr rangarajan narasimhan) and if called out, he just moves to a different aspect. I agree he has an eye for knowledge. But , needs to work on how efficiently to put the point across / get the question right In the first attempt and move further if its answered or when a dead end is reached.. I'm not an expert. Just sharing as a feedback if the admin/organisers do read onto all virwer comments

Looks like Magizhan is giving the interview and Kishore is asking the question. Magizhan, Please ask questions, don't enforce your finding on others. Just because Tamil literature has quotes of tamil landscapes it does not mean that it is a separate country. This landscape was a cradle of Tamil language. Also this land has many languages Co existed at various time periods. None of us are expert historians and hence this discussion should be held like a brain storm rather than a debate. Magizhan, according to you, Kerala was part of Tamil land as per Sanga Ilakiiyam. Even vada venkatam was. According to ilakkiyam Puduchery was also part of Tamilnadu ex. Karaikal Ammayar. If these can be separated from Tamilnadu, what stops creating new states from TN? Don't talk like constitutionai koluthuvom... just because someone told. Not all wise leaders are elected and not all elected leaders need to be wise. As long as a group of eminent people drafted and elected people accepted and president signed, please accept and proceed. Please stop saying India is not a country. Not every persons intellectual levels are matured. So avoid sensationilising.

Yes, right now tamils lost their land. Does that mean you can separate an ethnic group's land against their will? This is called dictatorship. Tamils lost their land due to pur kings died fighting between them. Invaders occupied our land. And Malayalis are still 85% tamils genetically. And lot of castes in Kerela are also Tamils. Tamil kimgs were relatives, and they married each others women. They were Tamils. Regions were divided thats why Tamils lost. The point is not regions , the fact is about the strength of tamils lies in unity. So First point to remember, 1) Country First 2) State second. Between this or that, COUNTRY always precedes if you believe you are an Indian. No Malayali, or a Telugu guy will accept Tamil as their mother language because those languages have more or less inheritance from Sanscrit too. So dont think in silos, think BIG! If you think you are an Indian, you dont feel any survival threat. From his body language and talk I understand he is only a few inches away from becoming an extremist. He has got a perfect concoction of traits for an extremist. He is unhappy with the state. He has an utopia of some tamil land. He is unhappy with india and its constitution. He is very rigid with his ideology. He is not ready to listen to the other person's views. Kongu required a separate state hood, as consider the tax paying value of this region, we have the least flyover in our cities with congested roads compared to the population growth. If we would have been the state, we would have been having Metro by now, quarters for the migrating laborers just like what Japan had for their migrating laborers, we could have had a far better growth, infact we would have competed with chennai in IT. But look at out situation now and the pathetic level of development allocated for kongu region in the past 75 years.

I am living in kongu nadu for 7 years now. I can see and feel the mood of people here. Its true this area has been neglected and given the choice people will vote for separate state. Second like kks said many in tuticorin districy were telugu speaking people.They settled nearly 150 years ( until this period I have collected info. They could have been here before.). I know many youngsters here who don't know even a word in telugu. They speak and write in tamil. So where will these people go?
