I had to look up the slang for 'you're a gun'. Australian slang for "you're a champion", meaning you're the best or you otherwise very good at something. Tami you certainly are one of the best. Blessed be.

The ‘Neilson Family’ played Merritt, BC, in the late 90’s. It was quite an experience after just having lost our wardrobes in a trailer fire on the way! The organizers gave us festival tee’s and hats and we performed in jeans (unheard of for us). Tami and I were especially devastated! I have a book coming out called ‘I Love to Tell the Story!’ that recounts it all!
