(அல்குர்ஆன் : 2:256) وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَاٰمَنَ مَنْ فِى الْاَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيْعًا‌ اَفَاَنْتَ تُكْرِهُ النَّاسَ حَتّٰى يَكُوْنُوْا مُؤْمِنِيْنَ‏ மேலும், உம் இறைவன் நாடியிருந்தால், பூமியிலுள்ள யாவருமே ஈமான் கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்; எனவே, மனிதர்கள் யாவரும் முஃமின்களாக (நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோராக) ஆகிவிடவேண்டுமென்று அவர்களை நீர் கட்டாயப்படுத்த முடியுமா? (அல்குர்ஆன் : 10:99) وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ اَنْ تُؤْمِنَ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ‌ وَيَجْعَلُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَعْقِلُوْنَ‏ எந்த ஓர் ஆத்மாவும், அல்லாஹ்வின் கட்டளையின்றி ஈமான் கொள்ள முடியாது - மேலும் (இதனை) விளங்காதவர்கள் மீது வேதனையை அல்லாஹ் ஏற்படுத்துகிறான். (அல்குர்ஆன் : 10:100) قُلْ يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَكُمُ الْحَـقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّكُمْ‌ فَمَنِ اهْتَدٰى فَاِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِىْ لِنَفْسِهٖ‌ وَمَنْ ضَلَّ فَاِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا‌ وَمَاۤ اَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ بِوَكِيْلٍ‏ (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக: “மனிதர்களே! நிச்சயமாக உங்கள் இறைவனிடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு சத்திய(வேத)ம் வந்துவிட்டது; எனவே யார் (அதைப் பின்பற்றி) நேரான வழியில் செல்கிறாரோ அவர் தம் நன்மைக்காகவே அந்நேர்வழியில் செல்கின்றார்; எவர் (அதை ஏற்க மறுத்து) வழி தவறினாரோ, நிச்சயமாக அவர் தமக்குக் கேடான வழியிலே செல்கிறார்; நான் (உங்களைக் கட்டாயப்படுத்தி) உங்கள் காரியங்களை நிர்வகிக்க அதிகாரம் பெற்றவனல்லன்.” (அல்குர்ஆன் : 10:108)
