While bridge fishing in the Florida Keys, we are presented with an opportunity to tame the local bridge monster. Fishing from bridges in the Florida Keys can be highly productive with the right bait and techniques. Many predatory fish live underneath the bridges and around the pilings. Fish such as permit, snapper, grouper, and barracudas can be found very commonly. Fishing baits like live shrimp, live crabs, ballyhoo, as well as grunts can produce great results.

I recommend on the first bridge that you go to the first shaded area in the afternoon there is normally a lot barracudas on the surface. The one downfall is that they normally are facing the other way so you might have to cross the street to the other side were the rocks are.

Hey Ryan! What's the loop knot you use to tie on your swimbaits and stuff? Watched your recent beach tarpon video and thought I'd comment on a more recent video for a response! Thanks in advance :)
@RyanMorie
@RyanMorie 2 жыл бұрын
Honestly not even sure what it’s called. I tie a half hitch (don’t cinch it down), thread through the lure, back through the half hitch. Then tie two half hitches and that’s it. Simple but works well when you use 50lb or more leader.

@@RyanMorie Cuda tubes do any good for cudas hanging around piers?
@RyanMorie
@RyanMorie 2 жыл бұрын
@@cornerstonearchery5123 sometimes. Usually only when the cuda has been fired up from a live bait or escaping fish. Being a public spot these cudas get tubes thrown at them almost every day so they’re pretty wary.

I agree that the cudas should be regulated but a 36 inch cuda is very small so really the only way to get some decent cuda meat now is your allowed to catch only one monster cuda because anything under 36 inches is not worth it there is no point in catching 1 Tiny cuda and a big one from shore or 5 Tiny ones and a big one per vessel
