Sounds like you need a dedicated shelving area where you can store your multiple/bulk purchases off the floor neatly. Just keep the currently being used items in your kitchen and replace them from your shelf stash when finished. I only shop once a month too but thankfully we have sufficient room to store our multiples in the kitchen cupboards so my floor is always clear. Kitchen islands are lovely in theory but they always end up as clutter magnets and dumping grounds for random items.

Take the trash out after each session. Don’t over fill the trash, when the container is at capacity remove it from the house and replace with a fresh bag.

A cheap way to get more storage would be to put up a shelf as long as the pantry. A shelf and a few brackets would fix some of the storage issue at hand.

Hello Miss Whit! I'm excited you are working on your kitchen again. I know you cook a lot for your family and do cooking projects with your little. It will be so nice when you get that area together. Hope your body heals soon. All the best 🌻🍄

So glad you're getting the help you need for your back! Boy, have I been there, done that. You are definitely on the right path! Meantime, it certainly does limit our activity. And storage problems are real-- I went for 2 years during the pandemic without going to Walmart 😮

Thank you for the encouragement. I will take that into consideration. I always feel like I talk too much and make videos too long. 😅

It is smart to just do one small area at a time. You're doing great, small changes lead to big things!

Awesome job. It's so good to see up and about even if only for 15 minutes. Glad that you found helpful medical care. I need to see a chiropractor too. Looking forward to the next video.

When you have a back issue it’s hard to get things done. I have to do little things at a time instead of being able to clean the whole house at a time. There is nothing wrong with asking your family for help with getting things done in your home. I hope you heal up soon. Take care of yourself.

There's no reason you need to stop what was working for you. If shopping once a month and meal planning works, then do it. Lots of people shop once a month, loading up on essentials. Some people shop once a week. Whatever works for your family shouldn't change just because we're in post pandemic. Sounds like you would save time in driving, money in gas, and stress if you gave yourself permission to go back to shopping once a month.

It seems to me you have too much food; maybe consider using that up first.

🎉 Does wearing a sports bra/regular bra help you with your back? Bc it does for me, I have a large bust and overweight, but I have permanent back damage from a car accident but if I bend over or twist, I can really hurt my back if the girls aren't n their swing. lol
