I watch your videos every morning. You explain things so well, I just love this video so much too. It is something that we all struggle with. I used to burst out in rage and say whatever came to mind (hurting the other person). Recently I started praying about this, I didn’t want to be that person anymore. And I noticed that I don’t talk back anymore. I keep quiet as is someone is holding my tongue. My mind started telling me that I’ve become weak and the other person has control over me however after watching this, I realized that this is somewhat the answer to my prayers. That I don’t react out of anger and I sit quietly to think first before responding.. I am more calm now than ever.

I've been praying for almost two years for a specific blessing and every time I finish a fasting day or a week and realize that what I've been praying for has been delayed, my faith takes a hit and also my words become more negative. Made me realize that Blessing and cursing is in the power of the tongue and I ought to bridle my tongue, so God can work in me life. Thank you for sharing this!

A Prayer for Mental Peace Almighty and Everlasting God, countless people are struggling in the recesses of their minds. The stress and anxiety of a consumeristic life have left many of Your children mentally scarred. Once someone has descended into their pit, it is so difficult to claw back out. Father, descend to them. Rescue them from the hopeless pit of mental anguish. Purify their minds and give them a hope that transcends all things. For You, O Lord, are gracious beyond measure. Amen Shalom Hallelujah.

That word perfect in James in greek means mature. I have a 91 year old lady friend i have know for 30 years. And all those years i have never heard her speak one word about another and i have never heard her complain. There are men and women that are mature in Christ. And i thank God every day that she has been in my life. She lives her very love and fear of God. By his grace she has taught me so much. I always say to her.. Just think we have know each other 30 years and then we will be spending eternity together. Thank Lord Jesus. This was a wonder to the point teaching from Gods precious word

I was actually just quoting James 3:1 earlier, how James warns that not many should become teachers as they will receive a stricter judgment. The power of the tongue can easily cause one to stumble, even a teacher. It really convicts and warns us to practice what we preach/teach! Not just in possibility of stumbling in words while teaching, but even outside of teaching! I love James. It really puts into perspective how we should apply the word in our lives and not just be hearers only 🙏

What a great message! This is just one of those things we are all guilty of doing in some way at some point. I almost felt scold by your message but it was in such a kind motherly way. For me its complaining or saying something negative when its better just to let it go. Which is something i've dealt with recently. I really like the book of James. Thank you so much for this message!

Thank you so much for seeking Jesus and sharing what you find in His Word! I just found your channel and it is already such a blessing to me! Keep going, girl! You are impacting God's Kingdom in such a beautiful, fruitful way! My biggest take away is refusing to misrepresent someone's character. I am not God so I do not know the heart or intentions of another person. By gossiping, I am playing the role of the judge, and that is not my place. Gossiping is misrepresenting people. By refusing to gossip, I am honoring people the way I want them to honor me!

I've never seen someone describe it this well before and explain the reasoning for example lying, boasting, spreading gossip and not keeping my tongue in check. Loved this video! First of all, I want to say that you explained this wonderfully and the video was amazing. It made me realize how powerful words can be and the story you said about the feathers and how the kid wasn't going to be able to pick them all up, that just hit me because you don't know the damage your words can do and how other people may interpret them. You don't know what everyone is going through and you won't always know if what you said affected someone else or not so you can't fix it.

This is something i needed to learn and the lord has graciously corrected like any father correct's his children that he loves dearly. There is many passages in the bible, which tell us to always speak life and never death. But in Eccelesiastes 10 verse 12- 14 says " Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious, but fools are consumed by their own lips. At the beginning their words are folly; at the end they are wicked madness - and fools multiply words. And in Eccelesiastes 10 verse 20 it says " Don't revile in king even in you're thoughts or curse the rich in you're bedroom, because a bird in the sky may carry you're words and a bird on the wing may report what you say. " We have to remember that the voices of the advisory in the courts of heaven who accuse the brethren day and night can use our own words to accuse us in front of our father. The words that the children of god speak are living prophecy, that's why we have to always speak life. If you think there are words that you have spoken that ur a convicted of repenting for, first repent in front of the lord then ask the lord who is also our "advocate" or in other words "lawyer" to have his blood which the scriptures says "speaks better words than ables blood", words like forgiveness, redemption, mercy, grace, or in other words speaks good things on our behalf to speak for you in the courts of heaven and answer any accusations that the enemy is bringing and then come into agreement with the testimony of the sprinking of the lords blood, and ask that the lord blood which is speaking for u to bring u into remembrance in front of the father, this will silence the accuser because he has no respond to the lords blood. Ask the lord like i have done to put a clamp over ur mouth so all words and thoughts come into abidance with christ, speak life and have a blessed day.😀
