Great built and nice implementation of the various techniques but simply too much of a good thing for my personal taste. Apart from the fact that nothing really rusts in the desert in a reasonable period of time, the whole African campaign lasted only 31 months. It is therefore unlikely that a vehicle freshly painted at the beginning of the campaign could take on such a rusty appearance during this timespan.

There's one thing I don't understand while watching the video. After basic painting with lacquer paint, paint it again with desert color lacquer paint, paint it with tamiya acrylic deck tan, and chipping it with a brush with acrylic thinner, does lacquer paint peel off on acrylic thinner?

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I agree. This was the only time I did it this way, but I used lacquer thinner to gently remove it.
