Hey thxs to this video I learned how to operate my Tamiya Tundra. The instructional manual which came with the car was all wrong.

"TAMIYA MFC-02 (Pick-up truck multi-funktion control unit)" is used for a chassis. Four channels are needed for the control. I am using the "SANWA(AIRTRONICS) VG600 4WD (6ch)" transmitter.

thank you very much for the video. It makes my lift much easier. Make sure you DO NOT get a digital trim version of radio. Has to be the analog trim to perform all the function in the video.

how can you make the truck turn off then perform the false engine start? In your video looks like the truck is off. Everytime I turn on the MFC02 the engine will start itself ....... if you can show me, thanks

Great vid. A few questions... 1: can you run the truck normally while using the AUX input? In other words, can I drive & play music at the same time? 2: Do you know of a video where someone is showing the shifting setup? For the life of me I can't seem to get the shift servo to work during normal operation. Thanks!

Somewhat unpractical to have to use the trim slide-button and stick for every command,. I wish Tamiya make a console that can be mated to the radio, with a multifunction turnsignal stalk, like on a real car with a steering column turnsignal stalk, which also have switches with the park-light, low/high beam, fog-light, push button on the end for the horn, like you see on many european and japanese cars, and buttons for hazard-light, roof- light, or what have you. It would be much faster and easier to operate when you are driving. In all the KZbin videos which demonstrate the use of the MFC-02, the car is at standstill, on the livingroom floor, not running, it says something about how unpractical it is to use when you concentrate on driving. Cheers.

+Nordmann61 I see what you're saying but this isn't real. I use the turn signals & the hazard function as a gimmick, not to signal to other RC cars that I'm turning. lol.... You're missing the point a bit I feel. It's a model kit.
