Tamiya MAN TGX - Project Ainscough Ep18 - Nooxion Ballast Trailer Bed, Graphics and Load - 4k

I decided I wanted some kind of safety system around the edge of the trailer as they do on the real ones. My first thought was to have safety chains, but I decided to go for safety cables.
For the Load, I really wanted Ballast Weights, but I couldn't find any that weren't a fortune to be 3D printed. I made my own secondary crane winch out of a cardboard box and nylon twist cord; it looked like steel rope to me. and a simple box covered with a piece of yellow fabric which would look like a tarpaulin.... now to take it out and enjoy it, it's been a long journey.

Beautifu. Just stumbled here.... I'm flabberghasted. So beautiful and detailed. I nowadays usally make my drill helpers using the 3D printer. In FreeCAD I design the tool. Export the body as STL. Slice it with PrusaSlicer and offer the gcode to my printer.

Brilliant. Looks scale too. Were you going to paint the trailer yellow to match the truck?

I'm not painting the trailer. The real trailers are blue with yellow wheels, but I think the trailer looks good as it is.
