I got the AK book that gives information on how to do the basics and give tips on products, it read like the instructions off the AK product labels. I reckon it’s time you thought about writing a “How to book”. Just looking at you subscriber numbers, you do have 200,000 potential customers 🙂 I’ve learnt so much from videos, using the marker pen is one thing I’ve picked up, but there are so many more ways of working I started doing instinctively. One tip, I pick up and use is after using the marker to highlight the mould lines, I do use a tip from a automotive paint sprayer mate and that’s to give the bodywork a very light dusting (or lost coat) of aerosol paint to give a guide when first sanding the body before priming.

I've ordered two ND MX-5 kits and they don't seem to have the "appearance package" aka the black skirt that goes around the bottom of the vehicle...where did you find this?

I got it from Plamoz. Not sure if they still exist

Nice clean build to a high standard, but standard MX’s have black springs and light grey cast iron brake callipers, but then I suppose yours could have aftermarket items fitted. ;)
@marcmillis84615 ай бұрын
Is that rear spoiler scratch-built, aftermarket, or did it come with your kit? I thought I had the same kit (Tamiya 24342-3200) until I saw the rear spoiler and non-stock seats. I'm trying to make my kit like my real car, and the front and rear spoilers differ (I already scratch-built seat belt stuff and cupholders)
@TheScalemodelingChannel5 ай бұрын
It is from an aftermarket upgrade set made by Plamoz
