Hi! Im new to this scene, may i know the part name for the front and back? Thankkssss
@claredin3 ай бұрын
The front is an AT (autotrack) bumper. The rear is a pivot. My pivot is called the Chandeleir Pivot because it hangs downward
@Unranked.3 ай бұрын
@claredin i tried searching them cant find the parts,im gonna assume thats how you call the set up right?
@claredin3 ай бұрын
@@Unranked. Yes, that's the set up. You have to build it using individual parts that you see in the anchor or pivot. Detailing all the parts would require a master class video.

@claredin hi, again, btw congrats on your last race, i know next time youll win. Anyway for my question, did yoy chop off the front bumper? To fit the AT?
@claredin3 ай бұрын
@@Unranked. Yes, I did. I ended up cutting up until just a little bit above where the body catch latch is and then I rounded off the edge to a kind of square oval.

hi! if you don't mind how much it cost that kind of build?
@claredin3 ай бұрын
it's about $90 worth of plates, $40 for the rollers, $20 for the dampers, $7 for the cowl, $7 for the car catcher, about $15 for the screw sets and locknuts. $25 for the wheels/tires. Add motor and FM-A car kit. As with any open class car, it's more about the time spent than the money spent. It can take hours and hours to build one. Do it slowly, take your time, perfect everything you can, and the result will be good. And accept the fact that a car will not be good on every type of track. We build cars to be strong and stable and then we think about what tracks we want to race on and adjust our creation accordingly.

Quick question about fma, why does the propeler shaft always get broken?
@claredin4 ай бұрын
It shouldn't. what motor and gear are you running?

@@claredin most of the time i use powerdash 3:7 and the track has a lot of jump/slope

@@DEEMini4WDPH Powerdash is a really strong motor. do you have carbom reinforcement on your chassis?
@DEEMini4WDPH4 ай бұрын
@@claredin no carbon reinforced, all stock
@claredin4 ай бұрын
@@DEEMini4WDPH You'll need to find a way to reinforce your chassis. MS chassis cars typically have the two U shaped carbon pieces on the underside of the chassis to prevent the wheel wells from caving in from the force of a crash. There are carbon pieces for FMA chassis as well. See Aliexpress for ideas.
