Brilliant! I bought my Tamiya Stug III a few weeks ago. A little project for me during the lockdown so I am glad I have found a really good build, paint and weather video to help me finish the project. Tank you Scale Modelling 76 and stay safe!
What you called the “drivers hatches” are actually transmission access hatches, amazing work though

Have one in the stash that may have just jumped to the head of the line! Nicely done weathering and will apply your methods to my build.. Panzer on!!

Hello mate, fantastic job. I have this exact kit in the stash and I've always wanted to build it but I've kept putting it off. After this fantastic video I really fancy doing this, this year hopefully. I have an ongoing project on my channel at the minute with my very first build along. It's just mojo and motivation with me. Lol I hope you and your family are all keeping well and fit through this awful time. Stay safe my friend and keep these fantastic build and projects coming.

I think the jack was usually painted the base color. I would tie down that jerrycan on the back or it won't be there long. Interiors were Elfenbein and the inside of hatches were painted grey so they did not show up when open. I really like the undercarriage weathering, just enough. Is the loose dirt on the fenders from pigments or something else? What is the reason that the exhausts don't show rust or heat damage?
@scalemodelling762 жыл бұрын
For the loose dirt I used real earth and then airbrushed it when the pigment fixer had dried . I did do some subtle rust effects on the exhaust but my dust layer kind of wiped it out I can always go back and re do the exhaust .
