I still have my TL-01 (Subaru Impreza Rally) which I bought in 1998. The chassis is still in great working condition

same, tho i got a '99' Colin McRae Ford Focus, got really into buying the hop ups (upgrades) and calculated car plus radio gear and those upgrades i had spent around £500, never did finish those upgrades tho, still got one of them in its sealed blister packet as it was part of the 4wd system so required 2 sets of them and never got round to buying the 2nd one to give it the next upgrade

Great chassis, I retired mine from racing and rebuilt it with just over 50 genuine Tamiya hop ups complete with a CPR 160 esc. Completely over the top and brand new👍

i miss my old TL01.. my first hobby grade rc i got. it was the tarmac rally Lancer Evo 4, still have the body! sadly the chassis is long gone.

I am a all time big fan of Tamiya, but I thought TL01 was poorly constructed low budget chassis when I first build mine back than. Always love the body though. I had Castro NSX body with green touring wheel. That was absolutely beauty! Decals was big pain in the butt.

The blue NSX that was shown on the box (mistake, the blue body I had was the skyline, not nsx) and the green wheel rims. I also have the green rims but never used them and I have it in a platic bag for safe keeping.

My fist c ca i bought was a second hand tl01 good basic chassis made a good car park basher long sold but still have 2 ta01 chassis.

I love my TL01. Mine has the carbon drive shaft and the carbon battery stays. It also has a front anti sway bar. Very solid chassis after all these years.

Have a few TT01s and dont think there a patch on the TL01s and TL01bs ive had. The TL01 made an awesome rally car. Only one ive had that comes close in my opinion is my fully hopped up TB01!

They did have several Buc-ee's on that chassis too and I wish they re-released this chassis again.

have 2 rollers, bothe both stock with plastic bearings. just need real bearings in both. one has a pickup body, the other has the peugot 406st body.
