Hello Dennis, makes me happy to see how the Delta 917 can be fitted to a tt-02. I am waiting for my 917 body to arrive this week and by your build I am reassured my intended speedrun project can be done. You added many Details to the Delta body to make it look more scale. Superb job Dennis! Klaus from Germany

Thanks so much man. If you’re gonna use the Delta Plastik body for speed runs then this will be perfect. Because the lexan plastic they used is 2mm thick. Specially designed for speed runs.

Thanks for your reply. Right now I run a reinforced GT40 body from HPI which works well up to my latest speeds around 125 km/h . I fancy those late 60s cars and as the 917 has a lower and smaller overall profile it will go even faster than the GT40. I was desperately surfing the net to find anyone who married a tt-02 with this body, worried about where to place the front body posts and the 917s front height in the posts area. Your Fenix looks better/more correct indeed. For my purpose it would be too wide, although I run foam tires just like you, 40mm rear, 30mm front.

What wheels and tires are You using on this? The original TT02 wheels are too narrow I think

Man very well done. I’m trying to build myself one as well. Tomorrow I’m receiving an ak 917 roller (comes with a 917 body but it’s not accurate to my liking so delta plastics it is for me. Please, where can I find those wheels and tires???

Thank you so much for your kind comment. The tires with wheels I purchased from Amain Hobbies.com.
