She's starting to look really posh now ... Adding some extra Tamiya TT-02 Bling-Bling: A completely unnecessary FRP battery plate, more alloy for the motor (never has a Silver Can been treated that well) and cleaning up the chassis. Almost there now ...

Hiya Mikael. Just when we thought that you were all finished you pull out those shocks! I enjoyed 'now for something even more unnecessary' :-) I thought that all of these things were completely essential! Hey you haven't got the expensive metal gears yet as far as I remember. Come on Mikael I'm sure you can spend even more money on this! Best wishes mate :-)

Hiya Pete! Ahh, why waste money on something necessary and essential? Then the hobby will start to be similar to all the other stuff in everyday life 😅😅😅😅 Gears and good motors are too necessary, too clever and too boring for this one 🤭😘 See you in the next video for something even more unnecessary ☺️ Best wishes my good friend

Looks on the money 💰 I have just built one yesterday and already hate the servo mounts they suck ! I am sniffing for some on e bay but no luck? Your one must cost serious dollar 💵 I’d be scared to run it lol great upload 🙏

Yeah, much too expensive for a TT-02B. Luckily this will be a speed test buggy, so hopefully no serious crashes 😊

Building mine pretty much the same . Yeah racing parts mainly . Carbon fiber for lighter weight , titanium balls and screws . Have the lower arm set but opting not to use them in favor of weight savings . Aluminum I use for strength in most parts . The blue bling is a nice touch but 2nd in importance . Using the blue aluminum diff locker up front and the oil diff in rear .. I just ordered almost $400 in parts and pit stuff . Car is built but gonna change over to the new stuff hopefully before race on Sunday if parts come on time .sux I gotta wait for 9mm wheel hexes I ordered from Japan . Can’t find them anywhere in the states right now .

Oh, man, Mikael, you got some upgrades on that thing by now, you think you're gonna manage to get it out for a run before the summer is over, ha ha? It looks really nice, I like that battery plate, although I went completely the other way and just velcroed my battery to the bottom and skipped the bracket altogether... And yes, away with those warning stickers, I reckon you know that car in and out by now... Always good watching your videos, looking forward to the next one!

Hi Mads! Uhh, not sure since I think the summer is over. Rain rain rain and clouds these days down here. I think the Velcro will actually do a better job securing the battery than that thin FRP plate. If this somehow ends up as a basher in the future I will definitely upgrade to Velcro. Yes, I like they put those stickers on for beginners and youngsters but they are not really that decorative if we don’t need them.

Ha ha, it ain't over till it's over... As they say... Actually, I got a battery charging for mine, I already did some speedruns but I got some conflicting results, so I need to go try again...

When you pulled the MS shocks off I thought you were going to get out a set of the Buggy Aeration Dampers or even the Big Bores for it lol

Ha ha, I feel tempted now 😅 But a 4-piece set of those shocks cost about the same as a TT-02B kit. At least these shocks where only half of that. And on a street car like this will be they will do the job. Well, the stock ones would too, so at least the new ones are still unnecessary too so I am happy 😅😅😅

Yeah good point lol. Come to think of it, how many TT02B's could you have bought with the money you spent on all the upgrades ? lol
