theyre closer to nature. they know natural things better. the world changed with artifical technology. technology with no natural purpose. computers and phones serve no natural purpose. they do nothing for our survival needs. but its all we're used to. thats why we think different from them. they are able to draw certain connections in their mind that we are not able to because the world around is so artificial. unless our generation is constantly reading for information and reading books about the natural world. then we'll get better. cause therea re a lot of distractions on the internet (the crippler of the modern socitey) that prevent us from achieveing our natural potential. the internet is a double edged sword. use with discretion/ self discipline rules all

Edward Kimani um, what? We can literally save people from dying and fly because of modern technology. I can see my mom’s face when I live half a world away from her because of technology. We can feed the growing population because of technology (though we’d admittedly be better at that if we swapped to veganism and fixed food transport infrastructure). Technology isn’t some mean babysitter keeping us all locked in because it doesn’t want to watch us on the playground, and it doesn’t make everything around us “artificial” either.

klondike444 every animal reaches carrying capacity eventually? And because of that, tend to go into a period where many die, and then nature is back in balance. That’s a pretty natural process. The only thing that technology has done is increase the carrying capacity of our environment. Higher building allow more space, better technology allows for more food to be grown and water to be purified, thus increasing carrying capacity. That doesn’t make technology bad, it just makes it a tool we’ve used to increase chances of survival, like other animals do too. Otters keep a favorite rock to crack open any shelled food they collect, thus increasing the range of foods they can eat. Primates use tools as well, as do elephants and plenty other intelligent species. By doing so, they increase their chances of survival and reproduction. The bad thing isn’t that we’re doing that, it’s that we have the technology and foresight to know that we’re hurting the environment, that there are ways to mitigate or eliminate that hurt, and yet aren’t doing anything drastic do so when we know it is a major threat. That’s not the fault of technology, it’s the fault of human nature.

Can relate to the kids coming over to the room so much. Like 1am in the morning we would watch the kid fall asleep for the 60th time and then we would move to a different room and I tell you the moment I get as little a woman's socks off...this kid is standing behind me. Children come installed with some kind of beacon to detect when stuff happens lol.

So true. They know what we’re doing. They get between us when we’re just kissing. After a few years, we just gave up trying to sneak around and just started telling them to go play

@@MeHaveDonuts I heard my parents through our paper thin shared bedroom wall every night and it only taught me what a loving relationship sounded like. It’s healthier than witnessing your parents fighting constantly. If the kids are grossed out, they shouldn’t come snooping where they might see something they don’t want to see. 😂 just make it clear that it’s an activity for consenting adults... who are married 😁

All comedians recycle jokes. Pretty sure I've heard the "I came and I went" punchline before, but with a different setup(which is fine imo). There are plenty of reasons to dislike Amy Schumer, it's a bit unfair to use something most of not all other comedians do as a justification for it though. Then you'd have to shit on all comedians for the sake of consistency.
@KattReen

Not saying that I like Amy Schumer, I think the amount of attention and gigs she gets is not in proportion to how funny she is, but comedy is subjective and there are plenty of people that enjoy her stuff.

i love that she came and she went line. As a Millenial, my experience is the opposite, though. I was raised by conservative Latin American parents and didn't have the freedom to do much sexually for years. Hanging out with older friends, they tell me stories of the wild sexual things they did in the 70's. It's nuts.
