I'm going to start working on my Christmas ornament soon. I want to pour on them but when every time I did it last year it went terribly wrong. I don't know if it was my consistency or not but I would love to see how to pour on glass bulb ornaments. I love the ocean that you did with the resin painting it was absolutely beautiful Welcome home

Hello, and thank you for putting up great videos! I'm a beginner to acrylic pouring and you have saved me time and again from giving up and throwing everything away! I love the sparkle in this pour! How can I be able to get those same results? Have you ever tried Mont Marte paint? I'm using the large bottles and I really like the texture and how vibrant the colors are. Also, can mica powders be used in pouring?
@tammyandersonart
@tammyandersonart 3 жыл бұрын
I have not used Mont matter. They are not sold around her. I'm sure maybe Amazon may have Few colors but I haven't tried them. To get shimmer in your painting you need to use shimmering paints like pebeo iridescent or decoart metallic colors. As for mica, yes you can not is need to be mixed Totally different than regular paint. I have videos for primary elements a beautiful dry paint system I sell and those you mix the same way as a mica

Hi 👋 Tammy I love your videos and I found this one super helpful but I was wondering is it the same logic if using a different medium other than floetrol as I use liquitex? GREAT VIDEO TAMMY.. thx for showing why you scraped .. 2 questions.. your opinion on house paint for base & do you blow on high or low?? thx
@tammyandersonart
@tammyandersonart 3 жыл бұрын
Ty my friend. My opinion on house paint is It works great for the Bloom technique but I'm not sure if these paints have non yellowing properties which I'm pretty sure they don't and at times it will disagree with what you have mixed into your colors so I use it only for the bloom technique. My blow dryer is on both high and low. If I need and area to spread further on the canvas I put it on hi. If I need the area to move just a bit then low❤

That is definitely a consistency issue. Your colors are thicker than the base coat and it may be hard to tell but that is why they are sinking
