I have lived in west central Florida for over forty five year now and to me this is just normal May weather. Some years May is wet and sometimes it is bone dry. I also have watched Fox 13 for that long and remember the weather forecasts from the days of Spuds Makenzie. Back then they didn't have this alarmist type weather forecasting like they do now. It makes many people overly anxious, and I sometimes wonder if that is the intent.
