So cool!!! You visited right up the road from me!!! I was over about 3 weeks ago at the small store you showcased in Salisbury, and in Kannapolis right by the Dale Earnhardt statue is the jogging route for my Monday night run club. Right over on that side street behind the Intimidator statue you may have seen Old Armour Brewery. That is where the run club meets up at at 6:15 each Monday evening. Take care Tampa Jay and it was neat to have you over in my back yard lol.

Welcome back to NC! Can't wait to watch this, brother!🤘😊 Were you in Salisbury in Rowan County? If so, it sounds like Saulsbury. Like Concord here I'd different than Concord, Maine lol. You were SO close to me.. man alive I wish I'd known! Oddly enough, a friend I went to school with was featured on an episode of Snapped and they used Salisbury as Enochville.. where we grew up. Man, you were right in my town!? Wonder if you'll go to the GEM theater.. still watching so not sure yet lol. Midway what a burger! :D and Mooresville wrapper! We live there and #11 is best! ;) The Days of Thunder barn is still here!

Fun Fact: An associate of mine a few years ago carefully acquired and moved the remnant structure of the Evil Dead II cabin with a crew to his property ranch in Kansas. From there they rebuilt the cabin using the original parts along with some newer parts. It's fully decorated very close to how it looked in 1986. If you contact him in advance you can tour the cabin. 😁

I’m from Greensboro, NC (but now also in Tampa) - so this was great! 👏 Kudos on partaking in the Cheerwine! Next time you gotta try Cook-Out, Biscuitville, BoJangles..and find a Sir Pizza! But sadly I’ve never seen The Evil Dead or been to What-A-Burger - need to change that! 😱😆👏 But I tried out to be an extra for Children of Corn 2 - Which was filmed in & around Liberty, NC, but sadly I didn’t make the cut! 🌽👨👧👦🌽

Biscuitville? That sounds pretty good considering I love Biscuits! Whataburger is ok.

@@markwilliams4525 Biscuitville is pretty amazing, only open till 2 PM, only serves breakfast! Good stuff - Only in NC & VA! Biscuits are perfect southern style - not greasy at all (can’t say that about the other stuff they serve, like bacon, sausage, home fries, etc…but ya know 🤷🏼♀️)

@@DisAmy33 well I'm definitely going to try it out, you talked me right into it! If you're down in tampa, go up to tavares fl and go to the twisted biscuit, it's ran by a father daughter team and it's very good! One more place is ducks dam diner in ocklawaha fl by ocala, you may like that too! Thanks for the biscuitville tip.

@@markwilliams4525 I have heard of the twisted biscuit, good to know! Now keep in mind Biscuitville is fast food, they have drive-thrus and eat in, but it is still good for what it is! 😆

@@DisAmy33 oh I'm definitely taking that into consideration, if it's not good when I go there I won't hold it against you 😉. It's like any restaurant sometimes sometimes bad so I definitely won't knock it if it's not good the first time I'll always try it again. I don't know how long you've been in Florida but there's plenty of old roadside attractions down close to where you are.

Salisbury= Sahls-bury or Sauls-bury. The "i' is silent. I'm originally from Charlotte, and the "i" was never pronounced. I was actually supposed to go to Livingstone College there, but the cards fell another direction. Hopefully, you'll be able to go Carowinds sometime. You could go there and ride Intimidator, a hypercoaster themed to Dale and NASCAR in general. There's some other great coasters there too. It's cool you went to What-A-Burger. However, the one you went to is not affiliated with the Texas chain Whataburger. This one is part of a local chain. I used to go to the one in Mooresville all the time when I worked in that town.
