Tampered Motorsport Budget Enduro 6 hour at Sandown in Melbourne 30/10/22.

The last few laps of my stint in the first hour of a 6 hour enduro at Sandown in October ‘22. Hosted by Tampered Motorsport. 6 drivers, one hour each. Highly recommend low budget racing and so much fun. This is an unmodified and completely stock 2007 Corolla Hatch fitted with a race seat and harness for safety. Unfortunately ran out of brakes and rolled after nearly 6 hours of racing…end of the Corolla, more importantly, driver unharmed.
We are back with a 2001 V6 manual Camry, more footage to follow.

Unfortunately our one and only GoPro battery died not long after the first session, so no footage. The car held up really well, main impact on the left hand A pillar and the roof was badly buckled. The driver was fine though and happy that we had a race seat and harness fitted. That’s why I fitted a cage to the Camry…
