Tandy Deluxe Leather Splitter Part 2

I need my leather splitter to work better. In part one I'm refining the edge on the blade. I did work on this over several days, and total working time was about 3 hours. Time is always something to consider with any project.

Oh man that’s so cool! It didn’t take that much work besides the blade sharpening to make that work great! I so need one of those! I must say, hearing the leather slice though the blade was very satisfying! 😂😂😂Thanks for sharing brother, I enjoyed watching!!

It works so much better now, I'm looking for some bushings now. I'm trying a different setup with the blade, I'll post an update as to how it works.

What’s the widest piece of leather you’ve been able run through it?

The widest I've done is 4" but I think it can do 5" without a problem.
