These guys did a good job genuinely performed not mimed unlike the current band with the ladies. I keep on playing this and still enjoys it. Great TD cover hopefully they make more of these.

It's very rare to see this set and this kind of music in 100% live, with the classic analogue instruments mixed with today technology and authentic musicians. I know that a lot o pleople love and enjoys this style, but don't support in a real way, the artist need that the audience make a response. The promotors, organizers, or city council don't support this if the people doesn't respond. We need more people like you. Thanks a lot for all post, guys!

I've never been one for people doing covers of TD songs but THIS is AMAZING. Great version of this classic piece. "Logos" just happens to be one of my very favorite Tangerine Dream albums too. Great job guys. Awesome tribute.

Logos was one of the first CD's to come out on the CD format back in 1986 and I still play that CD all the time. One of my favorites. Klauss does a great job here with their own touch on it. Great song.

I never thought I'd see/hear a cover version of a TD track! A very creditable version - with some elements that are particularly fine - the mellow bass line, for example. The drum, however, seems a bit 'Hammond'. Thanks for posting it.

In fact this is not entirely Klauss, what you`re watching are both the best exponents of electronic/ambient music from Argentina together, Half Klaus there is Ernesto Romeo (long haired guy) Other is Sergio Koval, met him working at VCC (he left, I was his replacement :-)...Hola Sergio ! te acordas de mi ?, ...Ricardo. Mira las cosas que uno encuentra en YT. Nunca olvide ese show en El Observatorio, ni los breves momentos de musica justos. Abrazo.

@thisisnev , I think you're wrong, Klauss isn't strictly-analogue rendition as you said, maybe you're confused with "El Cadí" concert. Klauss uses synths from many ages. Can't help thinking, too, that trying to emulate Logos with purely analogue kit is doomed to fail. TD were using at least one PPG Wave 2, and digital sequencers. I do remember the 16 red lights along the top of Franke's Moog III, sync'd to the tempo - a truly minimalist light show!

What guitar part? I was in the audience when the original Logos was recorded. Froese hardly touched his guitar for the entire gig! Which was a blessing, after he'd treated us all to 20 minutes of slides down the neck the previous year at the Hammersmith Odeon...

We have so much bad remix about a lot of essential music and usually they all fall bad, this is different, this guys just play the song again as close as possible, and even if they don't sound exactly different it sounds still hot and enjoyable, they just needed some little more help for the lightshow, a pictural presentation and some special presence to the audience and it would have been great

i think just the fact that the originals are in desperate need of remastering justify covers and remixes alone, not to mention the fact that tangerine dream is one of the most influential electronic bands ever but rarely gets acknowledged in terms of covers and homages as much as the pop electronic acts like depeche mode and the cure

Hola...! El pad del Roland JX-8P lo hice yo, tiene cierta similitud, efectivamente, con el maravilloso P17 (Soundtrack) y con el P6 (Low Strings), pero en éste pad mío las envolventes y el filtro están ajustadas a los "tempos" de la composición y el filtro está un poco mas resonante; también hay mas "detune" y un poco de envolvente controlando la amplitud del DCO2 por medio de la dinámica del velocity. Los sonidos del sequencer, si mal no recuerdo, es un ARP Odyssey controlado en vivo vía MIDI y otro sonido del ARP sampleado y disparado desde el sampler E-Mu. La batería electrónica es la Roland TR909, que está en escena, controlada en tiempo real.

bruford31 las voces son un multisample del clásico "mixed choir" de la librería de Mellotron... :) Éso lo hizo Sergio Koval, al igual que los samples del ARP Odyssey y las programaciones de baterías y sequencers...

It's ironic, considering Klauss' strictly-analogue rendition, that TD's Logos tour pioneered use of digital synthesizers and sampling. (And it would be churlish of me to point out that a key element of the TD version involved running the bass drum output from an 808 through a delay, which isn't exactly rocket science.) Minor niggles aside, this is a nice homage to TD at their creative peak.

We agree, Arthur... and, please, include the full credits... :) Logos was composed by Chris Franke, Johannes Schmoelling and Edgar Froese and this version was arranged and performed live in Barcelona by the argentinian band Klauss: Ernesto Romeo (synthesizers, drum machine, keyboards), Lucas Romeo (electric guitar) and Sergio Koval (synthesizers, sampler, MIDI sequencing). The video editing was made by Antonio Gutierrez Ortiz and, if you need, we have the original audio in a better .wav format. Thanks.

Okay, the stage lighting sucks, the camera work is marginal - no close-ups at all, the sound is iffy, and Sergio (on the left) needs a stool instead of a terrible fold up chair. Why am I complaining? Because these guys are AWESOME! This is probably the most alive cover of any TD song, or anything cover representing that great period of electronic music. So many people try to recapture it, and almost all of them fall flat. Not these guys. Bravo!
