A lot of songs had the same effect on me when I was homeless, about 20 years ago. I used to keep a small case of mixed cassettes and those became my soundtrack for a good year and a half of my life. Used to spend all my time in Golden Gate Park wandering around, listening to uplifting music.

I was a toddler when this came out.. but I was blessed with an amazing memory. I remember so much from the 80s! I dont know if it was just my innocent mind or what but.. that decade seemed to be very magical. The music and movies have this distinct enchanting undertone. Like something from another world. I miss it very much. When I'm sick.. I always go back to my infant/young childhood days by listening to this song and some others. It wraps a warm hug around me. Makes me think of my mother. My dad. My brother and 2 sisters who were teens back then. I was a surprise baby lol. My family has since fallen apart. I'd give almost anything to have just 1 more day as a kid again. To hug them. 6 months it took Goldsmith to come up with his score. TD got 3 weeks to come up with the goods. They nailed it!! One can only imagine what they would have done in 6 months. i take my hat off to Edgar.Chris and Johannes for this im sure they were a few 18Hr days in that 3 weeks. Good review! The different scores really do make a big difference. I remember as a kid, I had only ever seen the US version, and one time the UK version was played on TV and I was really weirded out by it, because there were scenes I didn't remember and the music was different, and I didn't understand anything about different cuts.
