That was a good lesson, and I thank you for sharing it. However, I would like to remind you that not all leaders are male, and not all followers are female. It would be more inclusive and welcoming to say (for example) that you are going to illustrate the follower's technique, rather than the ladies' technique.

hi eponymouslme, thank you for your comment. This is something we are very much aware of (we both do both roles) and we value dancers who choose their roles. We are also aware that leader / follower are not accurate words to describe the different roles in tango technique. However, after many years of teaching and much deliberation between us, we have decided to keep the words leader / follower and men / female when teaching in English in order to make the learning clearer. Hope that clarifies it ;)
