No, you're not :) I am 5.2 (about 160 cm) and my husband is ca. 6.4 (198 cm or so, almost 2 metres) and we've been dancing for quite a few years together. Of course we get a lot of funny looks on the dancefloor but seriously? Who cares? Have fun and - literally - dance like no one is watching!

What about feet work? I’m working with a shorter partner for a show and our steps aren’t lining up quite right. It could be I’m (being the taller) taking too long of a step.
