A reason why Sanemi hates Tanjiro so much is because he envies him. This is because he can't accept the fact that his demon sister Nezuko doesn't kill/eat humans while his own mother murdered and ate her own children. He was hoping that his own mom will never do that to her own family. Thats why he is envious of Tanjiro.

The point of the training for tanjiro; Tanjiro knows the sun breathing style, which is OG breathing style that other styles derive from....so in learning from each other style...that would further increase is capabilities in the hinokami... So he knows water breathing, and that helped his hinokami become more fluid in movement...learning from from the love hashira, could help his style become more flexible.....serpent hashira, could help his hinokami become more accurate in striking.... In the case of the wind hashira, it could help his attacks become more forceful and offensive attacking....thats what wind breathing emphasizes... If tanjiro could pick up some training from all the hashira, hed level up his hinokami

People who are hating on Sanemi so today I will answer them : 1. Why not Sanemi could have talked Genya to not join the Demon Slayer Corps ? Sanemi wanted genya to hate him because Sanemi thought that if he died one day then Genya would definitely take revenge for his brother, which Sanemi definitely not wanted. Sanemi wanted Genya to live peaceful live that's why Sanemi wanted Genya to hate him. 2. Sanemi was about to blind Genya, which is not justified at all ? Here my theory is, Sanemi just wanted to scare genya because i think Sanemi knew the whole time that tanjiro was there. But How can I so sure ? Because No one was able to find Nakime's eyeball in the entire series because it was made for the purpose of hiding, but Sanemi found it just by a slight sound. Do you really think sanemi wouldn't know tanjiro was there ? Come on Bro, He is literally Hashira. I think Sanemi was checking whether Tanjiro will save Genya or not if he attacks Genya. And when tanjiro came to protect genya, Sanemi sure that Tanjiro will protect Genya 3. Why Sanemi was beating tanjiro If Sanemi was sure that Tanjiro would protect Genya ? I think Sanemi was beating Tanjiro on purpose. Sanemi knew that tanjiro hate Sanemi ( But tanjiro didn't ) and tanjiro is good friend of genya. So, Sanemi was beating Tanjiro which make Genya convinced that Sanemi is a bad person and other reason is, Sanemi thought tanjiro will say bad things about Sanemi to genya which definitely made genya hate Sanemi. That's why he suddenly allowed genya to go to the same training as tanjiro. So that, Tanjiro can say bad thing about Sanemi. Sanemi lost everyone he care for like His siblings, Mother, His friend, His crush So he doesn't want to loose his only brother. 4. Becoming a demon slayer could also be Genya's personal choice so Sanemi was interfaring ? First of all, Being a Demon Slayer cannot be anyone's choice. All the slayer become Demon Slayer for some purpose. And Genya's purpose to demon slayer is the same as Sanemi, "To Protect and Care his Only Brother" which Sanemi not wanted at all. @@gregorylightbody255 Sanemi in unmarked is the second fastest hashira and with mark he is the fastest hashira and with mark and rage ,sanemi surpass marked giyu and marked mitsuri to be the 2nd strongest hashira.. Sanemi fought prime kokushibou at unmarked for sometimes and with mark sanemi fought on kokushibou on different level along with marked gyomei. . Sanemi also fought muzan in the final battle and in the end sanemi and giyu are only two hashira that survive that night with giyu lost an arm and sanemi lost two fingers.

In the final battle 5 hashiras and trio (tanjiro,inosuke and zenitsu) and kanao along with many slayers fought muzan and Trio and kanao also survive but out of 5 only two hashira survive that night against muzan... Among npc slayers,murata survives and among good demons ,nezuko and yushiro survives. In fact Yushiro is currently the only demon present in the modern world but he forget most of the event of taisho era but he remember Tamayo face and yushiro always draw and paint the picture of Lady Tamayo...
