I do mine once a year and the book says it's okay to use vinegar. The installer showed me how to do it and told me I'll save $200 by doing it myself. This video is perfect for first timers. For the price of the pump and using it every year it is clearly worth it!

@@mikehaduck-travel-mechanic884 yeh some filters are finer than others, we use 0.2 micron by memory, but here we have alot of chlorine in our water

I hate these things. They are efficient but boards go bad heat exchanger leak and warranty are a pain i l like tanks.
