I loved Hunter Koerner’s aquascape at 6:38. The composition and colors are beautiful.
@TheNajSD4 жыл бұрын
I agree, that's my favorite. It had a pleasing layout, dynamic colors, soft contrast, and a clean appeal. So many of the tanks had overburdened designs and sharp dark areas that fell flat.

I’ve visited this particular video about 2 or 3 dozen times in the last 5 months. I cannot pick a favorite because each one fills a different need depending on what kind of mood I’m in on that day. Let me thank you for the background music. I have purchased several of Chris Zabriskie’s pieces after hearing him here. Finally, let me give you a shoutout for the incredible camerawork. It’s just stunning!

I really like the sense of depth created by Danny Adams in the first tank... the corridor from front to back of the tank, amidst upright boughs of driftwood creating a strong vertical sense. Also Nam Nguyen's scape leaves a lot of bottom space, if you want to show off Corydoras, loach, or other bottom dwellers.

Don't Hope to be "that" good, be "your" good or better. These aquascapes are an expression of the creator. If you feel "stuck" or "in need" of inspiration; go into nature settings to help inspire. I'm saying be you, for that's all that matters and makes it matter. Be well.

The tanks are sold as Fluval Flora, although it looks like they may be discontinued. The lighting was the Fluval Nano Aura High Performance LED. I hope that helps!
@yourlocaltoad51026 жыл бұрын
Similar style tanks would be the NanoCube by Dennerle or the ScapersTank also by Dennerle. I don’t know if their US-product line also goes by these names, so maybe check on their website, but these tanks have the same rimless design with the rounded off edges on the front. Really nice for aquascapes or just decorative display tanks.
