I was simply going to shout out "Sauna experience!", knowing full well that's absolutely impossible yet I would genuinely love to see what it's like someday. Anyhoo, realistically I enjoyed every single pre show and during show and aft vlogs and would love to keep seeing that...which is basically rando snippets of anything. It's all so fun. Not very helpful, I know. Regardless, thanks for sharing your experiences Tank! P.S. Adding random snippets of Ingrid/Claire calls is the cutest and the outro was awesome. ❤

@red.aries1444
@red.aries1444 14 сағат бұрын
@AP-RSI In the beginning of the video he tells the date when he was filming this - 9th of May 2004. He still has his long beard when he reacted to RATATATA, while he was in Japan. In early June EC and Babymetal performed their song live in Germany. Then we got a video showing Tank with a short beard in his experience going to a German Sauna. So there is no magic with his beard, just a delayed publishing of his roadi vlog...

I still think it's totally funny that Pascal dated a friend of mine back then, but she didn't know that he was in a band. She worked in a venue at the time and totally complained about the band. It was just so silly that the guys (back then with “Sushi”) were standing behind her. Maybe he still remembers her, she can remember well and sinks into the ground every time she hears an EC song.

Great vlog, Tank. It's very cool to see some of what goes into making these shows and tours happen. It's always impressive with all that gear and all those people to move it and set it up. It was very sweet to hear your daughters voice, and fun with Kevin saying hello to her. I know it's just one of these parasocial things, but it warms my heart to think that I've been following your channel before she was even born, and to see the success you've had since then. I like it when people do well, and tiny humans are the best, so hearing her voice just punctuated that by putting her stamp on the timeline.

13:24 It's weird what he said... The German word for wrench, what you held in your hands is "Schraubenschlüssel" (can also mean "screwdriver") or just "Schlüssel" (which also means "key"). "Knarre" you would use more like when it's hydraulic/electric/air pressured (the "gun" shaped "brrrrrt brrrrt" tools, for example to loosen your wheel bolts)... but Knarre is also some sort of slang word for "gun" in general. 😄
@dnocturn84
@dnocturn84 Ай бұрын
Yes, a normal wrench is a "Schlüssel" or "Schraubenschlüssel" in German and it's usually not called a "Knarre". A socket wrench is what is called "Knarre" instead. "Knarre" ist eigentlich ein anderes Wort für eine "Ratsche" oder professionell: "Steckschlüssel". Nothing hydraulic, electric / air pressured is supposed to be called "Knarre". That's supposed to be called a "Schlagschrauber". You call an impact driver "Knarre"?

Seeing these vlogs takes me back 40 years when i did rock and roll (yeah, we did it back then). Unloading truck after truck. 8am to 2am. Nap when you could. I fell asleep on a stack of Clair Brothers subs once during a show - thats how tired you get after doing 6 or 7 nights straight. Its a little easier today. Audio and lighting is much smaller and lighter. The technology is harder.

It's so fascinating how everything is so well planned (at least it seems like it is) and how everyone knows what his or her tasks are and is working together so well! And all the little details Tank puts in mind, like always asking if somebody needs some help and making sure that everyone is ok and lighting up the stairs to the stage everytime someone steps up or down. That's so thoughtful! I get that this is the job of a tour manager but I think Tank puts some extra effort in it an that's why it makes him so good at what he's doing. You all seem like one big loving family where everyone contributes his or her part and is respected and appreciated. 💓💙💛💜❤

I'm glad to hear you speak highly of the Filmore. I hadn't been there in many years, but went twice that week and was really impressed by the venue staff. I'm so disappointed that I had to miss the Silver Spring show. At least I was able to make sure that someone else got to see it in my place.

That Fillmore show was such a blast. And it was great to drive there from out of town and have my hotel one block down from the venue.

I didn't know you could get a European style bus in the US. Cool stuff, Tank. I hope you continue to have as much luck with the quality of food!

The next time you guys are in Chicago, you should check out the burgers at Kumas Corner. They are amazing and all metal themed.
