For anyone interested, I have a brand new interview up with Adam De Micco of Lorna Shore, and it was one of the most honest, open and real conversations I’ve ever had with any musician, and he is a wonderful human. I promise it’s well worth your time, because you don’t see the normal human side of musicians this often! kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGKZiJlngs-nb8U

As I'm watching this and know that both Julia and Elizabeth have done react to this too, I can't help feeling they lost part of their soul listening this. 😂🥶 Poor ladies. Lol Also if your brain got melted and need nap after this, u think those ladies need therapy after they listen this.? Just wondering and laughing picturing those two in padded room together.

My reasons for liking metal is because of the insane amount of talent. So many bands with an insane amount of talent. The musicianship in some of these bands, Lorna shore being one of them. It just blows my mind. I usually don’t go this heavy, I listen to more metalcore than anything. But damn these guys are insane. I love it

In most publications that keep the pulse on Metal/Rock music, this was the song that tops the list for 2021. I would concur. I would go a step further and say it is one of the best Metal tracks in the past 20 years and I've listened to Metal for 35 years going back to Sepultura. It is intense, shocking and it blows you away, at how talented this band is. In a world where frankly it is hard to be shocked anymore, this did my first listen because I could not believe how beautiful yet violent this is. I'm still amazed by it and have listened to it hundreds of times. I have to see these guys live. No doubt.

I think its intended. The way its mixed it sounds way more brutal and atmospheric. There are not the vocals that are constantly confronting you directly but rather theyre coming down from the deep (hellfire). I love that this song brings out those emotions in you. I had the same visceral reaction. I'm probably on my 12th listen in the last few days and I still go through a whole range of feelings each time. This is why I love metal - it has more soul and fire in it than any other form of music, except - I dare say - classical music and jazz. Metal is quickly becoming the last bastion of real musical talent, energy, and innovation. I've been listening to death metal, grindcore, and black metal since 1991, and only a handful of bands have made me this excited in the last 20 years or so. The incredible melody coupled with the sheer brutality is breath-taking. Last time I shed tears on a first listen to a metal song was probably upon hearing Between the Buried and Me's Selkies: The Endless Obsession. Great reaction. Your love for the genre and respect and understanding for the craftsmanship and talent shines through.

Usually I'm not much of a core fan, but this was legit epic. Super sick breakdowns (which I normally don't care for), and a wicked guitar solo. This may well be the first core album I go out and purchase, and I'd go and see 'em if they came to town. Thanks for this, and as always, your insights are greatly appreciated!

I'm so pumped that you did this react!! And you're one hundred percent right; Will's vocals completely blew the original singer out of the water. I've been listening to Lorna Shore non-stop of the past week now (thanks TikTok), and as good as the other guy was... Will got a much bigger reaction out of me. I had the same look of horror/awe/adoration on my face during the last breakdown, and it hits me the same way every time! (I'm pretty sure my coworkers thought I was having some sort of out of body experience in the break room the first time I listened to this song!) Super stoked to see what these guys have in store! Great video, sir!

What is your opinion on the allegation of the previous singer CJ McCreery?? Is it fair that they release an album with former member after they kicked him out? After listening to this song versus their previous song with CJ McCreery, whos in, your opinion, the better vocalist? Also; regarding how these allegations turn out to be fake or not, do you think the previous singer CJ McCreery will have a career?

I honestly have no opinion on the matter, as I’m not involved, don’t know him, and don’t know anyone else involved with it. That being said, he definitely is a monster vocalist, but I prefer Will’s style more with this band. And I bet we’ll see CJ in another band regardless. Look at Tim Lambesis; dude got convicted of trying to have his wife killed and As I Lay Dying took him back. 🤷‍♂️

People look at me weird when I blast melodic scream. But the f*cking *technique* is just ... _insane._ The circular breathing, vocal tunneling, and vocal-cord folding is *literally* hacking the human voice. The reason it sounds _Inhuman_ is because ... *IT IS.* 🤟🔥😱🤯😈

I dig it, manbearpig has been found super cereal. In all seriousness I love seeing the evolution of music like this, You can hear the influences and music they clearly loved growing up and have pushed it forward more and more, Some dani filth / cradle of filth in there, a lot of Whitechapel / Norwegian black metal as a whole / Nile etc in there and clearly a lot of love for the wall of noise guys like SYL and anaal nathrakh etc Excited to see a bit of structure and melody in there and not the generic punishing guitar - guttural- solo - breakdown repeat a lot are trying to push out
