I can't help but think about how amazing this game would have been if it had the same budget as Battlefield 1. I own Verdun and I'm definitely buying Tannenberg once I have my gaming pc again. It's really a shame that according to steam charts this game has only around 100 players. I'm going to buy the game and hope people realize how amazing it is and player counts increase in the future.

@@jersood9059 I think u didn't get me. The border between the Austria-Hungarian empire and italian one, is the today's border of Austria (Südtirol). And the battles have been between the Italians and Austrians, not czechs or croatians. Just in the eastern front there were "slavs" in the Austria-Hungarian Empire and also at the border near Serbia, there were, as u already said, croatians. But at the alpines (Tirol) there were Austrians and no other ethnic group. ;)

My idea Polish Legions in World War I New rifle: M1867 Werndl-Holub New Maps : Battle of Rarańcza Battle of Kostiuchnówka In Map Kostiuchnówka you play against Russian Empire. Trench map with big open field in the middle of map. In map Rarańcza you play against Austro-Hungary. At the edge of map there are forests, nut in the middle there are railroad tracks and little village. There are NPC armoured train (Austro-Hungary) and polish playable Armoured Cars. Soldiers of Polish legions have a lot of granades. Source about Rarańcza - POLSKA PIŁSUDSKIEGO Epoka, czyny i dziedzictwo Marszałka (Rzeczpospolita's newspaper addition).

The 1867 isn't different enough from the existing Werndl rifle in game, maps in game are based off regions rather than single battles and both Rarańcza & Kostiuchnówka are covered by existing maps. Playable vehicles and NPC combat vehicles wont be added.

Ottoman theater (Gallipoli et al.), Middle Eastern theater (Damascus, Al-Faw Peninsula, Suez Canal et al.), Pacific Theater (Rabaul, Tsingtao et al.), Balkan theater (it's where the war started after all!), 'African' theater (Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck and the Askaris), and so much more! They should add vehicles, too. WWI tank combat would do wonders for this game franchise!

I have some neat ideas for new map, squad and weapon(s): map would take place during Kerensky's offensive; new squad would be Czechoslovakian Legion and tier 3 weapon for gunner class would be Fedorov Avtomat (i heard Russian army issued some in small numbers in late 1916 and in 1917 only to the most trustworthy units in the army-Czechoslovakian Legion considered one of them). Also Fedorov Avtomat should be reloaded like it was in reality (meaning not by new magazine but with 5 stripper clips 5 rounds each).

Maps in the game are location based, the Kerensky offensive would be covered by the map Galicia. Fedorov doesn't seem likely, on average you'd see more used in a single match than were built during the war.

@@bishop9757 I know maps are based more on location than on operations but this would be interesting setting to introduce Czechoslovakian Legion into the game. Legion began it's war path at the beggining of the war but as batallion-sized unit and it grew to corps-size in early 1917. As for how many Fedorovs were build during war I heard between several hundred to around 2000, so they were scarce indeed but even if all entente team would go Czechoslovakian Legion that would mean 8 guys (at most) will use Fedorov. Also slow reload would be nice realism-friendly balancing characteristic of the gun.

@@tomaszkrawczyk9344 Just saying the map already exists. From what I've read it's around 200 produced by 1920 when they kicked up production again and made most of them. They were also split between the forces, only WW1 report I've been able to find on their performance is the naval air service, another has stated only 8 being issued to the Army for field trials however no reports emerged and often viewed that all were lost in the battle.

Not for Tannenberg, neither was part of the Eastern front. Serbia is part of the Serbian & Macedonian campaigns/front and the Caucasus is part of the Middle East campaigns.

Tannenberg isn't confirmed to have a console port. Console patch is planned for the second half of this year, due to the set up of consoles it's best for the Devs to do the patch in a big bundle.

Has came up before, the game is focused on the historical role and there wasn't really medics during the war. Closest you really get are stretcher bearers who take those that can't make it themselves to triage points for medical treatment.

Battle of Tannenberg won by Germans was treated as a revenge and great propaganda success for losing the biggest medieval Battle of Grunwald against Poland Lithuanian commonwealth in 1410. The only strange thing is that Germans celebrated win of Tannenberg mainly against Slovaks and not against Russia just to wipe out that 1410 lost.
