Dam why do yall still at slave food ans want people to give us reparations and stuff. Soul food is slave food anyone who grew up in the south knew this. Stop eatting this stuff. White people and Mexicans leave thos stuff for trash. Us black folks need to wake up.

You sound MAD MAD🤣🤣 1) I don’t decide what I eat based on what Whites and Mexicans do. 2) If you do a simple Google search on cultures that eat Hog Maws you will learn that “It can be found in American, soul food, Chinese, Pennsylvania Dutch, Mexican, Portuguese, Italian and Vietnamese dishes.” 3) In the 1800s lobsters were so plentiful that they were commonly fed to prisoners, does that now make lobsters ‘Prisoner Food’? Does every person that eat lobster in current times want to be a prisoner??

@@TannyCooks Lmao I'm in California but from the south and here in California hog maws, chitterlings,pig ears ECT is actually considered a Spanish cuisine!!! When you go to the store the packaging is literally in Spanish so all that it's only black folks is bsht. It's even common in the Caribbeans,Asia.. especially the Philippines and pretty much all over south and central America including Mexico...Smdh. As a professional chef and a traveler outside of the US. This isn't brand new. Orejas de puerco aka pig ears... Look it up.... silly comment. Love your channel!!!

You crazy as hell talking that nonsense out the side of your neck. I’m Mexican af and We eat hog maws often, it’s called buche in Spanish and is a common taco in California and Mexico. We also eat chitlins, they called Trípás, tripas are also a common taco, burrito and entrée.

My nieces live in Micronesia and they eat chitlins and hog maws...Hawaiians also eat them. Very ignorant comment from original poster.

If mixing chitlins how much longer do u think it will take?
@msbossy413 Жыл бұрын
The chitlins will be done before the hog maws. I usually cook mine in separate pots because the hog maws take longer to cook and when the hog maws are fork tender then I mix them with the chitlins also I pre-boil my chitlins about 3 times to get all the grease off.

About to cook this for the first time. Have been hooked on pork intestines for years and can't wait to try this as well. Never ceases to amaze me what pansies most Americans are when it comes to offal. "If it ain't muscle or ground up, I won't touch it" seems to be the prevailing attitude. Bwahahaha, gotta love the small-minded ones...especially when they probably run right out and eat fast food or grab a pizza and some doughnuts to wash it down.
