I was listening to this song when I was on my knees, crying for my mom’s health. I was devastated because she has cancer and wasn’t doing well at all. God talked to me through this praise, and when I opened the Bible, it was Psalms 27. God confirmed that we should just wait on Him. We still need a miracle, but now we have faith and praise while we wait! My mom is a woman who follows our Lord’s words, and I ask you to pray for her health as well. Her name is Maria Juracy and she has a serious Lymphoma.

Love this old song written over 100 years ago but still such a message. The old songs had something to say. I was baptized in the Holy Ghost while our congregation sang this song in a Sunday night service. I have never heard it one time when it did not touch my spirit with blessings and encouragement.

I grew up in a Christian household and went through the paces of bible study, church, christian camp, the whole nine yards. I grew up in this environment. I really do believe that these people I've been around are genuinely good people. When I was around the age of 10, my best friend was the son of a preacher. Ill never forget the days we acted like hooligans for the sake of it. Looking back on it, I think it's a part of growing up and I consider it a fulfilling part of my childhood. I'm 24 years old now and I consider myself an atheist, despite the fact of this warm and welcoming environment. I believe life is just as it sounds: Worth living. I respect anyone who wants to worship their god. I've never been out of the southern United States in my life and consider myself one among its Christian population. My only wish is that we live a peaceful and harmonious life together. Thank you for reading.

John, PEACE, LOVE AND TRUTH aren't concepts but A PERSON WITH A FREE SPIRIT IN THE BIBLE CALLED JESUS CHRIST. Likewise, hate and lie aren't concepts but a condemned spirit (satan/devil) in the BIBLE called the father of lies. Unfortunately, the human race is shaped by the iniquity we were born into because of Adam's curse. As a result, we devour our flesh. Then we become mentally blind to the sickness of the heart by dressing it as if it is not serious with self flattery to not have said iniquity found out and hated, by saying peace when there is no peace in this world, and by labels stripping our individuality while dimming our humanity. This secular world is quick to put labels on people to make them a slave to said label even though our DNA makes us an individual. Laws act as a restrainer since they can't change the hearts of people who have the free will to desire anything and do what they want. The same outcome will result from people born of the flesh trying to follow GOD'S LAWS resulting in hypocrisy. So to change a curse into a BLESSING, GOD BEING OMNIPOTENT CAME DOWN IN THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST BY THE BIRTH OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO PURCHASE US BY HIS BLOOD TO TEACH LIFE LESSONS SUCH AS PATIENCE, LOVE, FORGIVENESS, MERCY, SACRIFICE, HOPE, FREEDOM, ABUNDANT LIFE, JOY, PEACE, PURPOSE, AND THE TRUTH ABOUT OUR EVIL NATURE. Where as the secular world purchased us by money to teach and show us discrimination (a necessary evil for the majority to maintain power over the minority) thus creating a master/slave relationship. Simply put, THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST TAUGHT us that none is good, to know that we are sick, to be pardoned/healed for the purpose of having a FATHER/child relationship with HIM. Contrarily, the secular world tells us that we are good to encourage us to be lovers of self/pleasure/material resulting in our interactions with the world being a master/slave relationship. GOD IS NOT SEEKING a man made religion. Instead HE IS SEEKING A RELATIONSHIP MADE POSSIBLE BY JESUS CHRIST with a given person's heart to set him or her free from the guilt of committing crimes to said heart given that guilt is eternal and must be punished eternally. Peace be still.

I have been there. I am from East Tennessee and I grew up with it. I thought I knew the best and called my self a atheist. Then my Wife died and a church took me in. I believe now as it's the only way I get to see my girl again. We as Southerners are entitled to one religious awakening.
