Man, Tanya’s voice has held up great. Still amazing and she’s had some rough years. Her list of hits its amazing Delta dawn, walkin shoes, 2 sparrows, little too late, if your heart aint busy tonight, san antonio stroll, lay with me, strong enough to bend, and my favorite “ oh what it did to me” among a million others

She’s just lucky that rasp has always been the most amazing quality in her voice. Those “rough years” have enriched that quality.

I'm not as big a country music fan today as I was in yesteryear, so I'm not familiar with Miss Brandi Carlile. This young lady can belt!!! However, I'm very familiar with, and love Tanya's stellar lineage of music contribution. I love it that I can still sing along verbatim to 'Delta Dawn' from when I first heard it on the radio in 1972, to through the decades (50 YEARS?!!). Big congratulations to Ms. Tucker for this milestone, and, although I couldn't identify maybe 3 of them, thank you for your selection of these iconic voices as collaborators that knocked it out of the park!!👏😘

Also, this was my first time hearing Brandi Carlile's voice, since I don't listen to country much anymore. Just....WOW!! She definitely has the total package. I look for great things from her in the future. P.S.: If you've ever seen the older movie "Fried Green Tomatoes", does she not remind you of 'Idgy Threadgood'? Anyway, she's a shooting star.

I listen to all kinds of music - but Tanya Tucker just sounds sweet in my ears. I'm not a C&W expert. I listen to everything between Iron Maiden and Moby. Or Dylan and The Greatful Dead.
