Just tried this. My throttle cable is too long. Did you have to change yours? Ran out of adjustment
@NOURSEPOWER7 ай бұрын
Yes, it was. I remember I noticed after I recorded. I used a part of a bicycle brake part as a spacer. It's hard for me to describe. It's the metal sleeve usually on the end of the plastic part of a brake cable. I put it in between the throttle cable end and the throttle slide cap of the carb. It's basically inside the rubber sleeve thats attached to the cap.. Just make sure it's going to pull out the slack and not get stuck in any way, causing the throttle to not close all the way. I hope I'm not confusing you, too much. This has been working for me. Hope this helps you figure it out. Thank you for watching.

May want to consider getting the offset intake manifold. Its not necessary obviously, but its way bigger to match the size of the carburetor and you'd pick up some decent power/torque as well

Would there be enough room? These atvs really have some limited space between the engine and frame. 1 more mod I was thinking is a fresh air tube/snorkel shooting into the airbox. 🤷🏻♂️ I can say the bike has been its most reliable with this setup. Thanks for watching, my friend.

How is the nibbi carburetor holding up? I am in need of buying another carb and another starter for the same coleman 125 atv.
@NOURSEPOWER14 күн бұрын
So far, no complaints. It's a pretty decent carb. The homemade airbox may be a little restrictive with airflow. It's the most reliable this atv has ever been for us. Cold start, hot start, and power. Our Coleman has not been an easy ownership but does finally feel I've worked out most kinks.

Awesome time when you get to go out trail riding with your boy. I didn't see a rear footbrake on this model. Do you have any other videos showing maybe a rear pedal and shows the correct bolt? Mine is missing and I need to get this thing safety upgraded for a 15 yr old boy as well. The original owner sold this but it needed tons of work to be correct. The engine is now running, but as with the original carb, there is no way to drop the bowl. I will install the correct one today, but still waiting on the proper choke to show up as well. Yes you can run a regular switch (ie lights, on/off) I will be able to test it though till the other parts come in. Got to JB weld the bracket for the front of the fuel tank. I also wish I would have seen that too before I paid full price...grrr

Def time well spent on the trails every time. This Coleman is hand brakes only. I've thought about adding a foot brake setup, but the frame doesn't have mounts, and it just doesn't seem to be worth the troubles. I did switch the hand brakes L to R, so the brake setup was like my sons mt. bike, easier for him to remember, which is fr/rear. A serviceable carb is a must-have. Cleaning the bowl helps solve many headaches. I hope you get her back together and on the trails. I do see these bikes for sale a lot, all torn down. 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for watching and subscribing.

Got a link to the spacer?

Thank you asking. I didn't realize I never added them. The parts are now in the description. You will need to copy and paste. I'm currently unable to add links in my descriptions. I think it's bc the channel isn't big enough. Thank you for watching.

how's the air box holding up?
@NOURSEPOWER3 ай бұрын
Surprisingly, very well. The Nibbi carb is doing great also. Honestly, this atv is running and riding better than new. It took some time and work to iron out its flaws but has since earned my trust. Thank you for reaching out.

@@NOURSEPOWER I just picked up one of those ATV's for free, but it needs work. Looks like new wiring, throttle and brake controls, and fuel system for sure.

@brich2929 awesome. Plenty of good websites for parts outside of ebay and amazon. One i like is Vmcchineseparts.com

I did this to mine and it’s dumping to much gas ?

I tuned the carb lean- pilot, needle & main to counter the homemade air box. Still slightly on the fat side with the provided jets, but runs better than previous setup. My favorite part is the bike starts right up. That was always my nightmare from out the box with this thing. If I come up with something else I'll make an update. Thanks for watching.

😆 thanks, my friend. So far, so good on that purchase. This is a bike, I just don't want to put much money into it, but I have worked hard to get it safe and reliable. Thank you for watching.
