very impressive but I would suggest using dowel pins which are solid steel instead of being hollow like roll pins, this would add a little weight and likely make the pins travel farther through the target. This would make a perfect self defense round, you get expansion and fragmentation while also getting the right amount of penetration without too much over-penetration. I can see this being a commercially made shell.
@chadh3441Ай бұрын
The advantage of hollow pins would probably be great for soft tissue, because the pins act like an apple core remover. It would be an interesting test to see. Solid pins would probably be great for bear hunting or for situations where solid objects are present. i. e. Skulls, doors, etc..

Copper thermite would make an excellent 'booster mix' for your little gremlin rounds. Makes a bright blue-green flash, lots of orange smoke (copper vapor). The stuff is insensitive to impact and friction, so on paper it would be a bit safer than harvesting material from fireworks.

From over the years of watching younguys, I've come to the conclusion (a long time ago) the human mind is a dangerous place to be in esp with some of the rounds you guys have been sent
