Great job from both bands. I must say, JSU sounds very nice for their size. But i have to give it to Haymer. I anticipate his penmanship every year... The brother is bad! He will surely go down in history as one of the best.

One of the main reasons JSU lost this battle last year is due to their choice of song selections. You can't allow SU to blow on you with two relatively fast and HARD songs and you respond with songs that are slow, dragging, and old. "I Got 5 on It" and the song before it were poor choices in my opinion. Also, out of the 3 songs played by JSU in The 5th last year, was "The Way" the only new arrangement? I know "Imagination" was an old one but I'm unsure of the other one.

I don't know what's all this talk, I hear, about SU- Human Jukebox blowing out JSU- Sonic Boom...Both bands came out strong...Indeed, SU had great arrangements and didnt overblow them (for a change)...but, JSU showed them that you can yet have awesome power, with just 125 band members (most of them crabs/freshman) and make music; instead of noise.

My point exactly, 2 years ago... JSU still put up a good fight in 2012, being it was a rebuilding year, plus having a reprised band director... Once again lets reflect on the ass rapping SU received in 2013 and definitely 2014's Boombox Classic... SU's ovaries and testicles got punched... That "BS" did not work on JSU, as it did Alcorn... Typical SU fan, always thinking SU sounds clean... Yeah SU is loud, but not clean (not always)... They were only clean, to you, because they were playing the latest R&B radio songs of that year... Now that is what was clean...smh!

Boy you out of your mind. Look I didn't go to either school but love both of them. And I have been in the band so I no a little about dynamics, balance, and control. Jsu sound good but Southern sound great. You listen to Southerns work hard then listen to Jsu. Southerns way better that was the reason Jsu waited 3 songs later to play there's. And rape come on son. Neither band gets raped in this rivalry. There's a winner and loser. And S.U. won them ALL. But Jsu do show up.
