It's very minor, but I appreciate listing the animals' names and conservation status when introducing them. It puts into perspective which ones need the most help.
@whiqeddik7615
@whiqeddik7615 Жыл бұрын
It is not at all minor, it may be mentally instilled to be that, but it is most important to know, that's why it rolls off so naturally when described by mouth. It paints the mental picture to truly appreciate the standings of the animal and humans stance with them

I love these longer videos, and it's great to see that there are some parts of the world where rainforest cover is actually increasing. The ecosystems animals live in are just as fascinating and important as the animals themselves, and Costa Rica's ecosystem is one of this planet's most diverse and beautiful. Thank you so much for making this.

It does have some serious wealth inequity going on, like top 20 in the world, way ahead of the US, in fact so does Guatemala and the other neighboring countries. So yes everyone protecting biodiversity is great, but not necessarily for the poorest people.

I thought this was going to be about tapirs, and was very confused and irritated that after 4 minutes, the video switched randomly to a completely unrelated animal, and continued to do that every few minutes. I had to look at the comments and restart the video to realize that the actual topic was animals of Costa Rica. That's a great topic. You could have made a title that makes it clear what the topic is. Please, rename this to something like "Amazing Animals of Costa Rica", and then make another video called "Tapirs Are Straight Out Of The Ice Age" that spends 10~30 minutes on tapirs and their fascinating ability to survive through massive climate change.

Awesome video! I love the longer form. It's also great to hear stories of where environmental efforts are succeeding and making an impact. While it is important to hear about life in danger, it can often feel hopeless, so mixing in videos about what habitats and areas are actually getting better is powerful.

I absolutely loved this video. This was truly a wonderful journey through Costa Rica seeing all the wonderful animals and reptiles. My only problem with this video was that it was hard to enjoy it with ads popping up every two minutes. It really takes away from the beauty of the video, but I know that’s nothing you can control. I wish KZbin would tone it down a little bit with ads. I hope to see more videos like this one where you explore countries
@bigbich4559
@bigbich4559 Жыл бұрын
they actually can choose to manually select where ads play, or to let youtube do it automatically. that’s why with some creators like jaime french you’ll see them say something like “it’s time to take a break” and then an ad will play right after. it’s just obviously less revenue when you have less ads

Okay, I was wondering why most of the video felt like déjà vu, because it's actually the 4 "Animalogic Wild" videos from 2019 condensed into 30 minutes (not even sure there's new info). I had watched 3 of them recently, so it's kinda nice to see the 4th now, but could've been more transparent about it by listing the originals in the description (after the "flashback to 2018" line).

I read a story once, of a man who was stuck in the jungles in South America.. He saw a Tapir, & it wasnt just a plant eater.. The man Henry watched the animal take & chew poisonous leaves, or a type of neuro toxin that created paralysis amoung the fish in the pond, where the Tapir would then come grab the fish & take them to shore & eat. It was my favorite books, I cannot remember if is was in “Papillon” or his sequel “Banco” by Henry Chereirre (misspelled last name)
