Tapout Tuning 650 whp CT4-V Blackwing with Purple Belt Package!

Nathan was one of the very first CT4-V Blackwing owners to have our Tapout Tuning Downpipes installed on his car last year. Not long after that, he upgraded to our Tapout Tuning Module (TTM) so he could start to get a better feel for what this car’s potential was.
Of course, you know how the story goes…. Newfound power is always great until before long, you’re left wanting more. When duty calls, we’re there to answer, so Nathan brought his CT4-V Blackwing back to us for the Purple Belt Performance Package!
We installed the AutoTech HPFP internals, Tapout Fuel Cam, and Global B Flex Fuel Kit. This gives us the ability to create a tune that will automatically adjust anywhere from E0 all the way to straight E85! Nathan’s Blackwing left making 579 whp on 93-octane fuel and 651 whp on E60! This is our most powerful Purple Belt car ever; so, what’s the secret sauce you ask? We upgraded the stock turbos to the Pure Stage 2 Plus set, so he’s making more power with less boost! In order to keep things safe and reliable, we left the boost turned down. Nathan’s planning to upgrade further down the road, so he’s already one step ahead!

The JB4 is a nice way to add easy power however, HP Tuners provides a far better tuning solution if it's in your budget.

With HP Tuners tuning, this will be about two weeks as one week accounts for the time to ship out your ECM, have it unlocked, and then sent back to us. However, if you'd like to reduce the time we have the car, you can purchase the unlocking service prior to bringing your car here. In that case, we would have the car for a week. I have a JB4 tune + a throttle body around 500 whp & it can break loose. I'll eventually do a down pipe but nothing more. 500+ is plenty of power for this chassis (rwd) it's best as a weekend track car not really a drag racer.

This is 650 to the wheels as measured on our Dyno. You can add 10 to 15% to this for the crank horsepower.

I wonder how the onstar data transmission of a high powered cars doing runs on the street will affect insurance premiums. It's a great car, but what gm is doing is shameful.

Yeah, had I known about onstar beforehand, I may have not even bought the car. I'm going to be looking for a way to remove it completely without losing too much of my infotainment featurs if possible.
