Why do you have to tap to do that run? Dont get it.

Maybe he can't stretch that far but I would definitely stretch.

Don't really have to stretch. Use all the strings. But got to admit it looks cool and a lot of folks are doing that stuff.

Example. Check out these licks Adrian papez. . Sort of that kind of stuff just using left hand.

It’s not a matter of having to, it’s just a different technique you can use to change up some phrasing
