While many species from across the entire galaxy and beyond talk to their gods in a manner similar to how you treat your rulers, humanity, on the other hands, talk to them as if they're their drinking buddies at a local bar.

Are they not old friends, ones who have been with us since the beginning? Dangerous, frightening and sometimes deadly. But still part of who and what we are? What would humans be without our monstrous friends in the Dark? What would they be without us?

@@brendamayfuller8803 and what would they do to to protect us from any who mean us harm. We thought them into existence to protect us from the darkness, but then we thought the darkness was worse, and thus it too became a god, it stands against us but knows that it does so because we need it to. As it is part of us, like all of our gods, drawn from the deepest parts of ourselves. We gave our gods the strength to protect us, from ourselves, to contain us, so that we don't succumb to our darkest elements. Amd we are well aware of our strength, so the gods we created to contain us, their might is without equal, their strength beyond question, and their loyalty unwavering. Do not fear the monster that is man, but fear the monster that man creates to stop themselves.

In “Tapping Out”, did anyone else notice the title flicker and disappear when Death was coming? If that was intentional, it was a very nice touch!

So fun fact: that staff is the staff of Hermes ,god of travelers ( all that uses the road to travel ,examples of this are robbers and merchants) and not the god of doctors/physicians.
