How he trains: apart from his classical and contemporary training, Dimash practices a minimum of three hours every day, as well as protecting his voice. For example, he never drinks cold drinks, only room temperature or warm. He exercises physically as well, soccer, taekwondo, and swimming- there’s a video somewhere online of him going in the pool (a half Olympic size) at one end and swimming underwater with dolphin kicks all the way to the other side, in just one breath. That’s how he can do those 23-second belts…

Dimash: 20 years of vocal training, 3 hours daily practice (except for performance day and a day after) healthy food (does not drink cold liquids, only warm ones), physical exercise, swimming, underwater breathing exercises and keeping healthy mind and total dedication to music , give this kind of vocals and difficult songs doesn’t strain tired throat and voice. Vocal cords are muscle and just like muscles you can do exercise. And his concerts, he sing live for over 3 hrs and sings perfect. . You can tell your friend: Training since 5, NEVER!! drinks alcohol or smokes or uses drugs "because it would hurt the voice". Total healthy devoted obsession to his craft, has only been to a night club 2wice in his life, hates to take vacations because he only wants to create music. Doesn't like to talk much or at all before concert days. Continually checks in with coaches, even after concerts to get feedback.

With that extreme dedication, people will believe Dimash is a real deal, not gimmick at all.. Some people still can't believe that human can use the vocal chrod freely.. Dimash is the proof that we can actually produce any sound we want and move from one register to another register freely.. But of course, training since 5 years old brat is the key.. Even after passing the puberty, he didn't lose his high child's voice..

So I don't know how I happened onto Dimash. I was just scrolling thru KZbin videos in my feed and clicked on the Slavic Bazaar video. That's not normally something I would click on so.... Like most, I think, I immediately became obsessed. At any rate, I only looked up videos of him singing and didn't know much about him. I finally did check out an informative video. And discovered something that shocked the stuffing outa me. He's 6'3" tall!!!!! For some reason I thought he was maybe 5'8" or 5'9". But 6'3"?!!!!! What???!!!!!

He needs to know that Dimash is classically trained (he started singing at the age of 5), and has sung with some of the world's finest opera singers including Placido Domingo.

I totally love everything Dimash does. This is the first video I saw of him and I have watched this one countless times and this video is the best one that I love watching the reactions to. I especially love it when the person instantly knows what it takes to sing like that and i really appreciated your guest's reaction. It was beautiful. I heard someone say he's unbelievable for a little guy but he's 6'3" tall. The next song your guest should watch is Olympico from the Dimash Digital Show and then from the Armenian Concert, I'll die for the wind in the mountains. He was born to sing sounds like that. I watched a dozen of these introductions. I know, you stick with SOS mostly. He has a new one, probably just as good for introduction. "Dudarai" CCTV China version 2023. He sings on Kazakh and plays two instruments. Dombra and keyboard. You can go blind as well, no disappointment.

i love this version of Dimash SOS, But In my opinion the 2021 digital performance is the best one. He gave it whilst everyone (except me) were stuck at home in isolation during covid) EDIT: Endless dimensions would have been a great example of dimash's music here, or even the story of one sky which shows a greater range.
