Apollo is our 11-year-old, pure-bred Friesian he is a good horse for a beginner rider. He has a lovely collected canter and is a great farter. He is herd leader over Farouk who is a pure-bred Arabian horse, Farouk is 9 years old and loves galloping and is a good endurance horse. He is the Grandson of the famous Marwan Al Shaqab and then there is Princess Bella a Four-Year Old pure-bred Andalusian filly her speciality is bucking and jumping for joy.

I just did my first 30 mile endurance race with my Arabian mare. I'm so proud of my girl! Way to go Farouk! What a wonderful boy he is!

Report the accomadations, as it is unsanitory! As for the wrong way, its okay. You and Farouk can make up the time and distance, all with a good heartrate. You and Ren are handling all of these challenges on accomadations, and poorly marked turns very well!

Even when you turned round, via the nice farmer, I still didnt see any sign to turn there. I'm sure I'd be getting lost all the time! I loved Faroukl gently perusing the puddle. Pity about the accommodation, especially when you and Rens thought it wld be a lovely relaxing few days away. ❤🐎💙🥰🥰

😅I’m glad you get lost. It gives me a chance to see even more pretty scenery. 😉❤️What a horrid accommodation! Zero stars and a thumbs down! We stayed in a motel with a van load of sheep dogs for next door neighbors. The floors and bed so dirty we didn’t undress. It was late or we’d have pushed on. We laugh about it now. One of those things. 🤷‍♀️

Obviously locking out from 10 to 4 was NOT for cleaning, my God what a dump! Thank goodness the darling farmer saw you passing by and got you sorted, maybe the turn was marked before all the rain, and that immediate area did look as if it had been scraped....

That turn was not marked well at all! No wonder you missed it. As for the B&B, I'm a great one at voicing feed back both good and bad! Red Dragon need to know this is not recommended accommodation, and if the place is under Wales Tourist Board or similar, they need to know too. Looks like they are just trying to cash in without doing any work. Anyway, enjoying the ride so far.

All the places I stayed in the UK were top notch. We especially enjoyed the kettle and tea things in every room, plus biscuits. What a lovely way to end every day! I hope you gave that hovel a fitting review. That was dreadful! Thankfully that farmer got you turned round in the right direction.❤️❤️🏇🏇😤😤⬆️↗️➡️↘️↩️🥰🥰

I stayed in some strange places in Wales. One was down a long long single track road and they had horses. It was a self catering cottage which was a barn conversion but I couldnt face that single track each day so we left and stayed at a place near the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. Second week turned out to be a self catering cottage for surfers so expected someone fitter than myself. You had to stand on the toilet seat to put a card in the slot for electricity and to top up the card you had to go two miles down the road to the nearest shop. I complained and truly was offered two weeks there instead of my booked one. I dont think we even unpacked. I drove all the way back to the Wirral.

The RD Society certainly should withdraw their recommendation for that horrible (!!) B&B. That's a relief Farouk's housing was good. My, he is brave about those huge puddles, and enjoying all the mud & poo. 🐴😄

I think you've won the prize for the worst B&B ... not a great prize to win. That was pretty bad. I am surprised that the signage is not better to prevent you going "off course" ... if you turned into every gate that is open, you could go very wrong, I'd think. The farmer was very helpful so that's a bonus. Thanks for the video.

What on earth were they doing in that room every day when they locked you out?! They sure weren’t cleaning it! Absolutely disgusting. I think I’d have been tempted to sleep in the horse box. That room was creepy. Definitely should be reported to someone. So sorry you had to deal with that. I do think the scenery on your ride was beautiful, though. 😊🐎💕

Oh my. That B&B was dreadful. The owner’s clothes in the closet’s and hanging on the door is just not acceptable. Specially nasty were the dirty cups and flies trapped in the curtains. At least Farouk’s accommodations were fine. On a good note Farouk did really well in all that mud. Not a mud monster to be found so far.

I cant believe the state of that b&b, I would’ve absolutely refused to stay there. The wardrobe being full of other people stuff 😬🤮and the flies NOOOOOOOO just 🤢 It would’ve been cleaner in your horse box. What a shame.

My experience with a B&B is not as bad as yours. Two 1887 mansions connected by the carriage house. No heat in the room (late March). We did have an electric blanket. No heat on my side of the bed. Once I found the dual control for the electric blanket I got warm. I found out later after we checked out the B&B has a ghost of a little girl👻

I wonder how many horses and riders the farmer had to redirect that day! Those little ribbons are very hard to see, and not visible from the direction you and Farouk were approaching from. The accommodation looks awful - too small a space and you couldn't even unpack. Otherwise, it looks like a lovely place - beautiful countryside to ride in.

So sorry you and Rens had a bad experience in the B&B! I might have snuck back to the horse box and slept in the cab seats! I know that wouldn’t do for your back or REN’s leg but I’d be tempted whether allowed or not! 😱😡 Thanks for not turning around and going home! Farouk would have been disappointed! ❤❤
