It's crazy how some skin care companies put their advertisings right above small businesses like Tara Lee who is really trying to help other people with their business instead of trying to steal their viewers to help grow their business; y'all probably know what company I'm talking about. Tara your doing an amazing job and continue to strive and grow your business. 🥰

I like thinner serums as well!! When I make my retinol serum (14 gr.), I add 0.10 gr. of hyaluronic acid powder as opposed to 0.15 gr. of hyaluronic acid powder. It feels so wonderful on my skin and I believe from the result I see that it absorbs better when it is slightly thinner.

I made my first HA-thickened serum this week, and I used LMW HA. It made the serum thick enough to not run out of my hand immediately, which worked fine for me. I used snail secretion extract and green tea extract. I've never tried predispersing the HA. I might have to do it!

Tara, I have seen people measure ph by taking a small portion of product as you do but they add distilled water to it before measuring ph. Why would they do that? Is it done with some products and not others?
@TaraLeee2 жыл бұрын
That is because their ph meter can’t take the ph of semi solid products like creams and lotions. That is how I used to do it before I got a ph meter that measures ph of semi solids. I discuss it in this video here and compare the two ph meters kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZfSi2l4aZWBibM
