I'm a Language Arts teacher. We are using ChatGPT to rate our students' writing. I will tell you the only way it started to be more accurate to what the state standards say was to ask it a lot of questions and we had to interact with it more than we felt was necessary. It's a program and like all programs, it's only as good as the programmer/user. I agree to be weary of it for beginners. That's why I watch your channel and other formulators to learn as much as possible to be successful in my own formulating journey.

I LOVE that you made this video!! I tried it myself and, yes just be careful yall for newbies to formulating.. chatGPT doesn’t always add a solubiliser, or emulsifier, OR a preservative!! lol but if you have a brain block and need some ideas, or just not sure of the process it’s decent ..

i think it’s a must too! generations below us will be using it, and the companies ahead of us are currently using it. so in order for us to keep up we the times and keep up with other people doing the same thing as us, we need to use it. otherwise we will be left behind. i think if you use it in a way that’s just like plagiarism, obviously that isn’t good, but it’s a great tool! i use it all the time now,

I can not get ChatGPT to do % correctly. It never gives me 100% in a formulation, always 90 something. And when I ask it to correct it, it goes in an endless loop, where subtracts instead of adds. Its kinda funny. It's still not real AI 😂

The only way to work with chat gpt is to train it with the correct information. Obviously leaving gpt to formulate without any training is pointless. Many formulators work with gpt including Chemist corner's founder Perry Romanowski

Happy birthday! Why are you giving us presents with a new KZbin video? For funsies, I asked ChatGPT to formulate a serum. It included 20% cyclooentasiloxane! Aren’t the usage rates 3-10%? It also got the INCI for powdered Germall Plus wrong. I had to literally say, “why are you telling me that Germall Plus contains (x) when its INCI is (y)?” It responded and said, “You are correct. The INCI name for Germall Plus is (y).” Like you said, if one already knows about formulating, it is workable. But, I would discourage any new maker from using ChatGPT.

adding some siligel will help keep things mixed together a bit more. a solubilizer could also help a bit, but an emulsifier would do more. but then change the whole formulating process.

This was a very interesting experiment! I don't think AI, is a very good idea, when it comes to formulating. It doesn't seem as knowledgeable as you'd want it to be! If your not a formulator like you are or I am, you could get into trouble fast! 😢 So, I'd say no to AI as a formulating partner. I'd trust my Chihauhua more than the AI, 😂😂😂!
